Led team in scoring over the combined three years of play (1969, 1970, 1971). Ten career field goals were a county record five years after career. Was still number two in 1981. Also kicked three JV field goals for a total of 10. Led (or tied) the NNJIL in field goals three straight years. Kicked the first extra point in the history of Thomas Jefferson Junior High School in 1968. Kicked a 30-yard field goal and two extra points in his first high school game ever played. Beat Paramus with field goals in the closing seconds two years in a row, 9-7 and 16-14. Had 10 career tackles, all on kickoffs. I knew the fundamentals of tackling.
