About This Website
Port Clyde, Maine
This collection of photgraphs
were taken in or near Port
Clyde, ME. This includes a
full-day on Monhegan Island,
Port Clyde, and Rockport.
Many thanks to the friendship
and companionship of Richard
Rockwell and Saul Rosen for making this trip possible.
Warwick, New York
This part of the trip came as
a surprise. It started as a
visit to Greenwood Lake
Beach and concluded with a
beautiful family property
called Old Millpond Road in
Warwick. The home and
property was built by MGM
Studios as a summer home for Ginger Rogers while shooting
a film at the lake.
Greenwood Lake is managed by Alexis Kass (my niece) and
Luke Keller. The Old Millpond Road property is owned by the
Keller family which offered magnificent hospitality.
Transportation and wonderful company was provided by
Raina Kass (my sister-in-law).
Fair Lawn, NJ and
Piermont, NY
What would be with a trip to
the Northeast without a visit
to my home town of Fair
Lawn, NJ. Other visits were
to Tenafly and Closter in New
Jersey and Piermont, NY.
I was hosted in Piermont in the beautiful home of Saul
Rosen and Lana Weschler. They have a beautiful home
on the banks of the Hudson River near the Tappan Zee
Bridge.
