This thrilling tour of the Southern half of Europe was inspiring. From the thrill of the bustling city of Budapest to the peace of a twilight stroll through the beauty of Porto. Europe is a place that stimulates your sense of curiosity. Our trip started with six days in Budapest before an eight-day river cruise the Danube River. The cruise took us through Hungry, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany. Each stop offered an exciting and educational day. The highlight was my 22-mile bicycle ride and a 10-mile hike to the Royal Palace of Slovakia.Porto Was Our Most Fascinating Destinations!
After the river cruise we visited Munich, Germany, Venice, Italy, and the picturesque Porto in Portugal. This magnificent city offered numerous opportunities for an amateur photographer. Located along the Douro River in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European cities. Our favorite European destination is famous for Port wine, which was actually named after this magnificent city. Most of the top photographs on this site are from Porto.
