Charlotte Hyman was born in 1927
into a warm but depression-era family. She
grew up a child of Russian Jewish
immigrants, orphaned while young, became
a city girl in The Bronx, a suburban
housewife and mother in New Jersey and
amateur golfer in Boca Raton, Florida. She
married three times, and raised three fine
sons, who gave her three wonderful
grandchildren.
Throughout her life she said, “I grew up in
The Bronx but rose above it.”
This fascinating story is about a truly
wonderful woman, mother, friend, and
neighbor. She is solely responsible for
keeping her family and friends close. She
has been inspiration to all those lucky
enough to know her.
Read this book and you will love her too.
